This nine-patch contains all the sewing challenges one might find in free form design. I specifically designed it to teach from, and as the basis for a book I’ve begun writing on that subject.
The skills involved are:
    · Curved seams, both gentle and sharp
    · Set in shapes, square-triangle-circle
    · Points ending in space, both wide and narrow
    · Y-intersections
    · At least two seams crossing each other at odd angles
    · Transparency as shapes cross over/through each other
