Our relationships flow as the winds and the seas, the currents forming natural patterns of whirls and eddies.  During a time when my art was inaccessible to me, my dear friend Lana saw that I was adrift and prayed that I would rediscover my creativity.  Soon thereafter, I began to design this quilt.  I named it "Lana's Prayer" in honor of her faith.

   This detail is just to the left of the center.   I’m especially proud of the transparency effects.   I enjoy playing with color and texture and this area was a delicious challenge.
